Backcountry skiing is a fun way to deepen your love of Alpine skiing. And while it may sound extreme, backcountry skiing does not have to look like a scene from a Warren Miller film. We've developed this unique program specifically with families in mind.

Spend 3 days together with an expert guide and come away with a deeper understanding of mountain safety, navigation, gear and unique skills needed to navigate backcountry terrain.

This program is offered in both Crested Butte and Breckenridge, Colorado.

Kick things off with a full day skiing the resort area together with your guide, followed by Apres Ski where you will review weather and maps of where you'll be skiing over the next two days.

Then, spend 2 full days in the backcountry. Day 2 is focused on learning about backcountry gear, avalanche safety and getting used to "skinning." Day 3 will include a ski tour hike and cap off with some spectacular powder turns!

This fun, three-day summer itinerary offers a fun new way for families to explore Colorado's Rocky Mountains.

We begin with a half day rock climbing experience,, integrating the basics of ropes and belay. Then in the afternoon enjoy lunch with your guide while reviewing weather and maps for the next two days.

On Day 2, head out into the mountains and focus on map reading, GPS and navigation. Day 3 is a big hike incorporating some technical terrain, bringing together everything you have learned over the past few days.

So much more fun than "just another hike," come away with real mountaineering skills and an amazing sense of accomplishment!

Our custom "under sail" Caribbean itinerary takes your family from complete beginners to feeling confident with the fundamentals of sailing and kitesurfing.

Learn the basics of sailing on Day 1 using Laser Picos. These are fun, durable, confidence-inspiring boats ideal for entry-level sailing and is equipped with a removable jib and reefing main sail for easy rigging. We arrange one instructor per person, in partnership with the Cayman Islands Sailing Club, for a truly customized learning opportunity.

Then on Day 2, take your new skills for a spin aboard a 38 foot Lagoon Catamaran! Set out with a captain where you will apply what you've learned to a larger, more complex sailing experience. Stop by a few of the island's best snorkeling spots and the famed Stingray City before capping off an exciting two days with a sunset toast.

Grand Cayman is also an ideal place to learn Kitesurfing on Day 3 of your trip. The picture perfect, warm, blue, tropical Caribbean water is ideal for kids, and the reliable trade winds make this an ideal spot for comfortable cruising and easy progression.

Each member of the family working with a private instructor, learn the basics of kitesurfing and enjoy plenty of play time on the water. The kitesurf season is generally November through May in the Cayman Islands.
